Is TXPEPMP530 the right dish for my PtMP wireless link?
TXPEPMP530 is a 30 dBi 5.1-5.8 GHz dish antenna with 5-degree narrow beamwidth and dual N-Female connectors (includes jumpers). It works well for long-distance PtMP and PtP wireless links on the unlicensed 5 GHz band, typical for WISP and rural broadband applications. For shorter distances or wider sectors, a lower-gain antenna or horn antenna may be more practical (RF Elements horn antennas, for example, deliver better noise rejection at lower gain for dense urban WISP deployments). Tell us the link distance and target capacity and we recommend the right antenna.
Are TxPRO antennas compatible with Hytera and Motorola base stations?
TxPRO base antennas like TXAB144430 (dual-band VHF / UHF, 200W max) are compatible with standard base station configurations across major radio brands. The antenna connects via SO-239 or N-Female depending on the SKU and is impedance-matched at 50 ohms standard for two-way radio. For specific base station configurations (especially repeaters with duplexers), tell us the repeater make and model and we verify compatibility before quoting.
Do TxPRO accessories work with the Motorola APX P25 line?
Some do, depending on the connector and accessory type. APX P25 radios typically use Motorola-specific multi-pin connectors that may differ from the older GP300 / EP450 line. For APX-specific accessories, we recommend Motorola OEM accessories where exact connector match is required, but TxPRO covers many of the standard audio and antenna accessories with appropriate APX-compatible variants.
