The platform delivers four EPON PON ports—each supporting a 1:64 splitting ratio and up to 20 km transmission distance over 9/125 µm single-mode fiber—with a maximum aggregate capacity of 256 simultaneously connected EPON terminals. Uplink flexibility is addressed through a combination of four combo 10/100/1000M auto-negotiation GE ports, four SFP GE ports, and two SFP+ 10-Gigabit ports, backed by a 58 G backplane bandwidth.
