Why hospitality is different

Guest experience and back-of-house, in one supply chain.

Hospitality technology is a layered problem that crosses categories most distributors silo separately. Guest-facing infrastructure has to feel invisible and reliable: enterprise WiFi with PCI-compliant guest network segmentation, hotel-grade IP phones with PMS integration, AV distribution for conference and meeting rooms, in-room AV. Back-of-house operations need radio communications for housekeeping, maintenance, security, and valet, plus the AV paging and intercom systems that coordinate F and B and front-desk. Life safety has its own contractor licensing requirements: addressable fire alarm panels with monitoring, sprinkler supervision, and the documentation needed for AHJ approval. Property security stacks intrusion alarm panels, IP video surveillance with retention compliance, and access control across guest rooms, back-of-house doors, and perimeter gates. Most properties source these categories from 4-6 different distributors and integrators.

EhubAmerica consolidates the hospitality tech stack under one supplier. Our Doral, FL warehouse stocks the most-requested SKUs across all the categories a hotel or resort project touches: Ubiquiti UniFi enterprise WiFi (the most-deployed hotel WiFi platform), Yealink and Fanvil SIP phones (Teams-certified, Zoom-certified, SIP-compatible with major hospitality PBX platforms), Hytera DMR radios for back-of-house communications, Hikvision and Epcom AI video surveillance, Edwards / Notifier / Fire-Lite / Simplex addressable fire alarm panels, DSC PowerSeries and DMP intrusion alarm panels, AccessPRO and Seco-Larm access control hardware, Linkedpro and Intellinet structured cabling, and Epcom Powerline HDMI extenders and AV distribution. Bilingual EN / ES engineering desk for property staff training docs in both languages. Familiarity with hospitality-specific compliance (PCI DSS for guest WiFi PCI segmentation, NFPA 72 fire alarm contractor licensing, state alarm contractor licensing for intrusion, FCC Part 90 for back-of-house radio).

The hospitality lineup is the practical choice for boutique hoteliers and B and B operators sourcing a complete tech refresh on a single project quote rather than coordinating across multiple vendors, mid-size and full-service hotel general managers refreshing aging IT and life safety infrastructure across 100-400 room properties where the back-of-house complexity demands enterprise-grade equipment, resort and luxury property IT directors managing multi-building campuses with PtMP backhaul between blocks plus enterprise WiFi mesh per building plus full life safety and surveillance, multi-property chain operators (REITs, management companies, regional ownership groups) standardizing tech specifications across 10+ properties in Florida, the Caribbean, and Latin America where consistent supply chain and bilingual support matter, and F and B operators (standalone restaurants, hotel restaurants, bars) sourcing POS network plus guest WiFi plus surveillance plus alarm as a consolidated project quote.

Categories we cover across hospitality

Our active hospitality coverage maps to six practical categories. Guest and enterprise WiFi Ubiquiti UniFi (the dominant hotel WiFi platform), Cambium ePMP for multi-building campus backhaul, MikroTik routing, Wi-Tek PoE switching for AP power, structured cabling under Linkedpro and Intellinet. Frequently asked

Hospitality questions, integrator answers.

Specific to boutique hoteliers and B and B operators, mid-size hotel general managers, resort and luxury IT directors, multi-property chain operators, and F and B operators sourcing consolidated tech project quotes.

Do you stock the full hospitality tech stack in Miami?

Yes. We stock the most-requested SKUs across enterprise WiFi (Ubiquiti UniFi, Cambium), IP phones (Yealink, Fanvil, Grandstream, Yeastar), video surveillance (Hikvision, Epcom), fire alarm (Edwards, Notifier, Fire-Lite, Simplex, System Sensor), intrusion alarm (DSC, DMP, Sfire), access control (AccessPRO, Seco-Larm), back-of-house radio (Hytera, Motorola, Kenwood, TxPRO), structured cabling (Linkedpro, Intellinet, IURON), and AV distribution (Epcom Powerline). Most in-stock SKUs ship same-day when ordered before 2 PM ET. Larger project orders quoted with 1-4 week lead times depending on scope.

Can you ship to Caribbean, Bahamas, Mexico, and LATAM hotels?

Yes. We ship internationally with experience in Caribbean and LATAM hospitality projects. Caribbean island freight typically routes through Miami sea freight forwarders (we coordinate with your preferred forwarder or recommend one). Mexico and Central / South America ship via standard air freight or ground depending on destination. Customs documentation provided. For Caribbean coastal properties specifically, ask us about hot-dip galvanized hardware (Syscom Towers, Charofil INOX 316L tray) and exterior-rated equipment for salt-air durability.

What is PCI DSS guest WiFi compliance and what do we need?

PCI DSS (Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard) applies to any hotel network that touches credit card transactions, including the property management system, POS, and online booking integrations. The core requirement is network segmentation: guest WiFi must be isolated from the back-of-house network where card data flows. The standard implementation uses VLANs on enterprise WiFi (Ubiquiti UniFi supports this natively with multi-SSID and VLAN tagging), a firewall enforcing the segmentation, and access control between segments. PCI also requires logging, intrusion detection, and quarterly vulnerability scans. We help spec the network architecture, but PCI compliance assessment is performed by a Qualified Security Assessor (QSA) for properties processing significant card volume. Ask us for a network architecture spec; we coordinate with your QSA for the assessment.

Do you handle pre-deployment configuration for multi-property rollouts?

Yes. For multi-property chains and management companies standardizing tech across 5+ properties, we pre-configure equipment before shipping: UniFi controller adoption and site templates, switch port configurations, IP phone provisioning to your PBX, DVR / NVR camera channel assignments and motion detection zones, fire alarm panel programming (per AHJ-approved spec), access control reader and lock pairing. Ship-ready means the property IT or contractor unboxes, mounts, plugs in, and the configuration loads on first boot. Cuts deployment time by 60-80 percent on multi-property rollouts. Ask about portfolio standardization spec.

Hurricane and saltwater considerations for Florida and Caribbean properties?

Florida coastal and Caribbean properties have specific environmental considerations. For outdoor equipment (PtMP backhaul radios, exterior cameras, antennas, towers), specify hot-dip galvanized or stainless steel hardware (Syscom Towers G suffix for hot-dip, Charofil GAC or INOX 316L for tray) and exterior-rated jackets on cabling (Linkedpro PRO-CAT-6-EXT-LITE). Electrolytic galvanizing corrodes in coastal humidity. For hurricane preparation, mount cameras and radios to handle 200 km/h wind ratings (Syscom Towers towers are rated 200 km/h with appropriate guy configuration). Surge protection on incoming power and ethernet (Ubiquiti ETH-SP series, Tycon surge protectors) prevents lightning damage which is the most common Florida insurance claim. We help spec the exterior-rated equipment list and surge protection per project.

What is the typical lead time for a complete hotel tech refresh?

Depends on property size and scope. Boutique under 80 rooms: 1-2 weeks from PO to ship-ready for in-stock SKUs. Mid-size 80-250 rooms: 2-4 weeks including pre-configuration of WiFi controller, IP phones, DVRs, and any larger fire alarm panel ordering. Resort 250+ or multi-property rollouts: 4-8 weeks for full pre-config, multi-site coordination, and any specialty SKUs that require Syscom or Epcom distribution coordination. Send us the property spec (room count, building count, existing infrastructure, AHJ jurisdiction for fire alarm, target install date) and we come back with a realistic lead time before quoting.
