What it is and who it is for

The Cambium Networks ePMP Force 4600C (C060940C121C) is a 6 GHz connectorized subscriber module with a 2x2 MIMO/OFDMA radio and two RP-SMA ports for an external dish. It works with ePMP 4600 Series access points in point-to-multipoint networks and also supports point-to-point links.

It tunes 5725 to 7125 MHz with 20, 40, 80 or 160 MHz channels (AFC control in FCC jurisdictions), adaptive modulation up to MCS 13 (4096-QAM 5/6) and transmit power from +3 to +28 dBm combined. Cambium cites multi-Gbps capacity with 160 MHz channels in point-to-point use and latency under 5 ms with ePTP. Integrated GPS with an antenna puck handles geolocation.

A 100/1000 Ethernet port (802.3at compliant) and an SFP+ port carry data; input is 44 to 59 V with 28 W consumption, from the included PoE injector. The 0.73 kg radio measures 256 x 125 x 47 mm, is IP67 rated and operates from -40 to 55 °C, with pole mount hardware for 3.1 to 7.6 cm poles included. This part number is the Rest of World version with a US power cord.

  • System fit: Cambium ePMP 4600 Series; works with ePMP 4600 access points; managed with cnMaestro and planned with LINKPlanner and cnHeat.
  • Important to know: Rest of World version with a US power cord; the 6 GHz dish (C060900D021A) is a separate part. Cambium lists performance from 5725 to 5925 MHz as TBD.
