What it is and who it is for

The Cambium Networks Force 400C (US) is a 5 GHz ePMP radio with 802.11ax-based technology and two RP-SMA connectors for an external antenna. Cambium positions the Force 400C for point-to-point links, using its ePTP mode, and the US version covers 4920 to 5885 MHz subject to local rules.

Cambium rates the radio at up to 1 Gbps with latency under 5 ms, using 2x2 MIMO/OFDM, 20, 40 or 80 MHz channels and modulation up to 1024-QAM. Transmit power is adjustable from +3 to +28 dBm up to the regional EIRP limit, and Cambium lists range up to 32 km (19.9 mi) in PTP deployments. Interfaces are a gigabit RJ45 port and an SFP port.

Power comes from 802.3at or 44 to 59 V passive PoE, with 28 W maximum consumption and 1 joule integrated surge suppression. The metal housing is IP67 rated, survives 180 km/h wind and operates from -30 to 55 °C, and the radio is managed locally or through cnMaestro.
