What it is and who it is for

The Ceragon RFU-CXE-11-LZ-TH is an 11 GHz FibeAir RFU-C family outdoor radio frequency unit (RFU) with extended modulation for licensed point-to-point microwave links. This unit is the Low Band, Tx High version, and it connects to a Ceragon FibeAir indoor unit over a coaxial IF cable.

The 11 GHz RFU covers 10.7 to 11.7 GHz with Tx/Rx spacing of 490, 520 or 530 MHz and RF channel spacing of 28, 29, 29.65, 30 or 40 MHz. It runs from -40.5 to -72 VDC, draws 22 W in 1+0 or 39 W in 1+1 (6 to 26 GHz units), and operates from -35 to +55 °C at up to 100% humidity. The unit measures 200 x 200 x 85 mm and weighs 4 kg.

It supports direct antenna mounting or remote mounting with WR90 flexible waveguide (UBR100 flanges at radio and antenna, PBR100 on the flexible waveguide). The IDU to RFU link uses RG-223 cable up to 100 m or Belden 9914/RG-8 up to 300 m with N-type male connectors. Configurations include 1+0, 1+1, 2+0 and 2+2.
