What it is and who it is for

The DMP 1142BC-B is the belt clip model of the DMP 1142 Series wireless two-button hold-up transmitter. Both buttons must be pressed at the same time to send a hold-up alarm, which lowers the risk of false alarms, and the device clips to a belt or pocket or can be mounted under a counter or on a wall.

The transmitter communicates two-way with DMP 1100 Series receivers on XTL, XT and XR Series panels in the 905 to 924 MHz band, with optional 128-bit AES encryption. A built-in survey LED confirms transmission for single-person installation. It runs on a 3.0 V lithium CR123A battery rated for 5 years, and the flame retardant ABS case measures 3.3 x 1.6 x 1.2 in. The 1142 Series is listed to UL 636 as a hold-up alarm accessory and to UL 2610.

  • System fit: DMP XTL, XT and XR Series panels through 1100 Series wireless receivers.
  • Important to know: encryption needs panel firmware Version 183 or higher and receiver Version 300; installation and programming should be done by a qualified alarm technician.
