Overview

What it is and who it is for

The DMP 1164-W is a wireless photoelectric smoke detector with a built-in 85 dBA temporal sounder. The sounder synchronizes its Temporal 3 alarm cadence with other 1164 detectors on the same fire system, and the detector reports to DMP 1100DH or 1100XH receivers on XTL, XT, XT75, XR and XF6 Series panels in the 905 to 924 MHz band.

The detector has a sensitivity of 2.0% and runs on a 3.0 V lithium Panasonic CR123A or DMP CR123-FIRE battery rated for at least 1 year. It signals low battery at 2.65 V with a beep every 30 seconds. The white detector measures 5.6 x 2.4 in on a 5.4 x 0.46 in base. It is UL Listed to ANSI/UL 268 7th Edition with CSFM and FDNY approvals.

The 1164NS is the same detector without the built-in sounder. Receivers need Version 203 or higher, XT30/XT50 panels Version 123 or higher, and XR Series panels Version 108 or higher.
