What it is and who it is for

The DMP 734 is a one-door access control module for DMP XT Series and XR Series panels. It connects to the panel Keypad Bus or AX-Bus, accepts a Wiegand or OSDP card reader, and switches the door lock with a 10 A Form C relay. Each module address covers one door and four expansion zones.

The module operates on 8.5 to 28.5 VDC from a 12 or 24 VDC supply, drawing 240 mA in standby and 260 mA in alarm including 200 mA for a proximity reader. Zones 1 to 3 are grounded 1k ohm zones for burglary or access control use, with zone 3 wirable as a bypass-only request to exit, and zone 4 is a non-powered Class B ungrounded fire zone. Status outputs for remote LED, remote annunciation and armed status are 100 mA switched ground. It measures 4.5 x 2.75 x 1.75 in, weighs 5.6 oz and is listed to UL 294 along with CSFM and FDNY.

OSDP needs 734 firmware Version 106 and Hardware Level 102. On XR550 panels using AX-Bus, the system supports up to 32 doors, expandable to 96.
