What it is and who it is for

The DSC HS2LCDWF9N is a 2-way PowerG wireless full message LCD keypad for PowerSeries Neo systems that have a PowerG transceiver (HSM2HOST or an HS2LCDRF keypad). It operates in the 912 to 919 MHz band with 128-bit AES encryption, and up to 16 keypads can be used per system.

The keypad runs on 4 AA alkaline batteries or an optional 9 VDC, 1.25 A AC adapter and draws 30 mA minimum and 105 mA maximum, with low battery indication at 4.5 V. It has 5 programmable function keys, a display with up to 14 characters per line and a wall-mount tamper. It measures 168 x 122 x 25 mm, weighs 370 g with batteries, is rated IP30 and IK04 and operates from -10 to 55 C (0 to 49 C for UL/ULC). An optional HS2LCDWFDMK desk stand is available.

  • Best for: adding a keypad where running Corbus wire is impractical on a PowerSeries Neo system.
  • System fit: PowerSeries Neo panels with an HSM2HOST9 transceiver or HS2LCDRF9 keypad.
  • Important to know: a PowerG transceiver must be enrolled on the panel first, and for UL/ULC residential fire use the 200 second wireless supervision option must be enabled.
