What it is and who it is for

The DSC HSM3350I is a PowerSeries Pro supervised power supply module from the HSM3350 family. It connects to HS3032, HS3128 and HS3248 control panels over the 4-wire Corbus and adds 12 VDC, 3 A of power for modules and devices, with dual battery backups that are individually supervised.

Power comes from an 18 VDC, 3.6 A adapter of the HS65WPS family; the HSM3350 manual lists the HS65WPSNA and HS65WPSNAS for UL/ULC and the HS65WPS for CE/EN50131 installations. Two AUX outputs share a 3 A combined limit at 10.8 to 12.5 VDC (UL/ULC) or 10 to 14 VDC (EN50131), with 600 mVp-p maximum ripple. Two battery inputs accept 12 VDC batteries from 4 Ah up to 36 Ah (2 x 18 Ah), with charge current of 400 mA normal or 700 mA in high charge mode. The module reports AC loss, battery fail, low battery and AUX troubles, draws 35 mA, and its 190 x 96.5 mm board operates from -10 to 55 C at 5 to 93 percent relative humidity, non-condensing.

The HSM3350 manual lists the HSC3010C, HSC3010CR, HSC3030CAR and HSC3020C enclosures, with load and standby limits that depend on battery size, enclosure and listing.
