What it is and who it is for

The DSC LC-B1-15X is the optional outdoor mounting bracket for the DSC LC-151 outdoor PIR and microwave motion detector, sold separately from the detector. The LC-151 has a fixed beam direction, and the bracket lets the installer aim the beam horizontally or vertically to set the field of protection.

The bracket mounts to a wall, and tilting the detector on it adjusts the detection range, which the LC-151 manual gives as 5 to 15 m (16 to 49 ft). It can also be mounted on the same wall as a side window with the beam rotated toward that window. DSC advises not to mount the detector more than 10 degrees off the vertical or horizontal plane.

The LC-151 itself mounts at 1.8 to 2.4 m (2.1 m recommended), has an IP65 protection degree, operates from -35 to 55 C and is rated for wind up to 30 m/s. Other LC-151 accessories listed by DSC are the LC-L1-15X corridor and long range lens and the LC-F1-15X 36 kg (80 lb) pet filter.
