Overview

What it is and who it is for

The EPCOM Titanium TT401MS is a 4x1 HDMI multiviewer switcher. It takes four HDMI sources and shows them on one monitor at the same time, so an operator can watch all four while switching any one of them to full screen.

It supports quad mode, dual mode and full screen mode at resolutions up to 1080p at 60 Hz, with HDMI 1.3, HDCP 1.2 and PCM audio. Modes and inputs are changed with front panel buttons, including a dedicated audio button, or with an IR remote. The metal housing can be wall mounted, and the unit is plug and play.

EPCOM lists DVD players, cameras and computers as typical sources, for applications that need real time monitoring of several devices.

  • Best for: watching four HDMI sources such as cameras, computers or DVD players on one monitor in real time.
  • System fit: HDMI 1.3 sources and displays up to 1080p at 60 Hz with HDCP 1.2.
  • Important to know: maximum resolution is 1080p at 60 Hz; this is a video switcher, not a network switch.
