What it is and who it is for

The Hustler HD9-43050 is an HD series heavy duty UHF base station antenna for 430-450 MHz with 9 dBd gain, 20 MHz bandwidth, vertical polarization and a 7 degree vertical aperture. It is rated for 400 watts maximum with 1.5:1 VSWR and terminates in a sealed Type N female connector.

Copper radiators and feed line sit in a 1.9 inch white fiberglass radome on a 2 ft heavy wall aluminum base, with a brass lightning prong grounded through copper tube. It weighs 13.7 lb, is rated for 130 mph winds, and clamps to pipes 1.5 to 3.25 inches O.D. or angle members up to 2.5 inches per side.

  • Best for: tower and remote UHF sites that need a heavy duty antenna for difficult environments.
  • Fits: Type N female termination (7/8 inch EIA flange available); pipes 1.5 to 3.25 inch O.D.
  • Important to know: this is a fixed station antenna; mounting hardware beyond what is listed, coaxial cable and installation are separate, and the antenna must match your licensed frequencies.
