What it is and who it is for

The Hustler HD9-470-90 is an HD series UHF base station antenna for 470-490 MHz with 9 dB gain, 20 MHz bandwidth and a 600 watt power rating. It terminates in a sealed N female connector.

Soldered copper radiators sit in a fiberglass radome with an integrated lightning arrestor and copper grounding wire. Length is 14.43 ft (4.4 m), it is rated for 150 mph (241 km/h) winds, and clamps for 1.5 to 3.25 inch poles are included. An ASPR614 mount is used for lateral tower installation, and an optional reflector tube adds 3 dB of gain.

  • Best for: UHF base and repeater sites operating between 470 and 490 MHz.
  • Fits: N female termination; poles 1.5 to 3.25 inch diameter; ASPR614 for lateral tower mounting.
  • Important to know: this is a fixed station antenna; mounting hardware beyond what is listed, coaxial cable and installation are separate, and the antenna must match your licensed frequencies. The ASPR614 mount and reflector tube are separate options.
