The Hytera PD402i VHF is an entry level portable radio for teams on a 136 to 174 MHz VHF system. It supports DMR Tier II digital and analog operation, holds 256 channels in 3 zones and transmits at up to 5 W.

Tactile buttons support no-look PTT and emergency calling. The radio is rated IP55, meets MIL-STD-810 C/D/E/F/G and runs up to 16 hours digital or 12 hours analog on the standard 1500 mAh battery, or 22 hours digital with the optional 2000 mAh battery (5/5/90). It weighs 9.5 oz.
