What it is and who it is for

The Icom IC-F1100DT is a digital portable radio for teams on a 136 to 174 MHz VHF system. It holds 128 channels in 8 zones, transmits at 5, 2 or 1 W and supports analog, IDAS (NXDN) conventional and NXDN Type-D single-site trunking.

An 8-character alphanumeric LCD and full DTMF keypad support direct entry. The radio is rated IP67, tested to MIL-STD-810G, delivers 1500 mW of audio and offers battery life of up to 18 hours with the supplied BP-280 battery.
