What it is and who it is for

The Icom F2000T is an analog FM portable radio for teams on a 450 to 512 MHz UHF system. It holds 128 channels in 8 zones and pairs an 8 character alphanumeric display with a full DTMF keypad, so users can see channel names and dial directly from the radio.

The radio is rated IP67 dust tight and waterproof and is tested to MIL-STD-810G. Built-in safety and signaling functions include Man Down, Lone Worker, motion and stationary detection, an emergency key, 2-Tone, 5-Tone, CTCSS/DTCS and MDC signaling, plus a 1,500 mW internal speaker for loud audio.
