What it is and who it is for

The Icom F2100D is a compact IDAS portable radio for teams on a 450 to 512 MHz UHF system. It runs analog FM and NXDN based IDAS digital operation, including IDAS conventional and multi-site conventional, and holds 16 channels on a rotary selector.

This is the no-display version with a three-color LED for status. It is rated IP67, tested to MIL-STD-810G in 12 categories, delivers 1,500 mW of speaker audio and runs up to 18 hours on the supplied BP-280 Li-ion battery.

  • Best for: warehouses, manufacturing, hospitality and campus crews that need simple push-to-talk on a digital UHF system.
  • System fit: UHF 450 to 512 MHz; analog FM and IDAS (NXDN) conventional and multi-site conventional systems.
