What it is and who it is for

The Icom F2100DS is an IDAS portable radio for teams on a 450 to 512 MHz UHF system. It runs analog FM and NXDN based IDAS digital operation and holds 128 channels in 8 zones.

An 8 character alphanumeric LCD and simple keypad show channel names and caller aliases. Icom rates the F2100D series IP67, tests it to MIL-STD-810G and quotes up to 18 hours of operation with the supplied BP-280 battery.
