What it is and who it is for

The Icom F2100DT is an IDAS portable radio for teams on a 450 to 512 MHz UHF system. It runs analog FM and NXDN digital conventional operation, supports NXDN Type-D single-site trunking depending on version and holds 128 channels in 8 zones.

A full DTMF keypad and 8 character alphanumeric LCD give direct dialing and named channels. The radio is rated IP67, tested to MIL-STD-810G in 12 categories, uses AquaQuake to clear water from the speaker grille and runs up to 18 hours on the supplied BP-280 battery.

  • Best for: security, utilities and facility teams that need keypad dialing and digital calling on UHF.
