What it is and who it is for

The Icom IC-F3400DT is an IDAS digital portable radio for teams on a 136 to 174 MHz VHF system. It holds 1,024 channels in 128 zones, transmits at up to 5 W and runs analog or NXDN digital, with multi-site conventional and optional Type-D trunking.

A color LCD with day and night modes and full DTMF keypad, built-in Bluetooth and a built-in GPS receiver support field use. It records voice to microSD, includes man down and motion detection and is rated IP68 and tested to MIL-STD-810G.
