What it is and who it is for

The Icom IC-F52D is a compact IDAS digital portable radio for teams on a 136 to 174 MHz VHF system. It holds 512 channels in 128 zones, transmits at up to 5 W and runs analog conventional or IDAS (NXDN) digital, with NXDN Type-D trunking available as a license upgrade.

A dot-matrix display with status icons, built-in Bluetooth, vibration alert and up to 8 minutes of voice recording support daily use. The radio is rated IP67, meets MIL-STD-810G and uses the AquaQuake function to clear water from the speaker.
