What it is and who it is for

The Icom IC-F6011 UHF is an 8-channel analog mobile radio for vehicles and base stations on a 450 to 512 MHz UHF system. It transmits at 45, 25 or 4.5 W and uses 12.5 kHz narrowband channels.

Built-in 2-Tone, 5-Tone, MDC 1200, CTCSS and DTCS signaling cover common fleet and dispatch setups, and a 4 W front-mounted speaker keeps audio clear in a noisy cab. Four programmable buttons (P0 to P3) and an optional ACC cable for remote channel control and external audio round out the controls. The radio is tested to MIL-STD-810 G.
