What it is and who it is for

The Icom IC-F6130D UHF is an IDAS digital mobile radio for vehicles and base stations on a 400 to 512 MHz UHF system. It runs analog and NXDN based IDAS digital, holds 128 channels in 8 zones and transmits at 45, 25 or 4.5 W.

An 8 character alphanumeric display with a high contrast black background LCD stays readable in the cab, and a 4 W front-mounted speaker keeps audio clear. IDAS features include Lone Worker, emergency call, radio stun and revive, short data messages and a digital voice scrambler. The radio is tested to MIL-STD-810 G, operates from -22 °F to 140 °F and weighs about 2.7 lb.
