What it is and who it is for

The Icom IC-F7520 UHF is a P25 digital mobile radio for vehicles and base stations on a 450 to 512 MHz UHF system. It runs P25 digital and analog, holds 1,024 channels in 128 zones and transmits at 45, 25 or 5 W.

A high resolution color LCD with night mode keeps channel and call information readable in the cab, and built-in Bluetooth supports wireless headsets and wireless programming. P25 Phase 1 and Phase 2 trunking are available with optional license keys. The radio is tested to MIL-STD-810 G and rated IP55.

  • Best for: public safety, government, utilities and transit fleets operating on P25 systems.
