Overview

What it is and who it is for

The Icom FR6300 is a second-generation IDAS repeater for 400 to 470 MHz UHF systems. It runs NXDN digital, analog FM and mixed NXDN/FM operation, holds 32 channels and delivers up to 50 W at 50% duty cycle or 25 W at 100% duty cycle.

The front panel has a 12-digit alphanumeric LCD and 5 programmable buttons, and a programmable D-SUB 25-pin connector handles remote control and audio I/O. With the optional UC-FR5300 board it adds IP networking, SNMP and Syslog monitoring, trunking and simulcast, with ±0.1 ppm frequency stability when locked to a GNSS reference.
