What it is and who it is for

The Icom IC-M330G is a compact fixed-mount VHF marine radio with a built-in GPS receiver, in black. It transmits 25 W or 1 W on 156.025 to 161.600 MHz, receives 156.050 to 163.275 MHz and covers USA, Canadian, International and weather channels.

Class D DSC, a supplied GPS antenna, a common NMEA interface, IPX7 waterproofing to 1 m for 30 minutes and AquaQuake speaker water clearing are built in. Dual and tri-watch, priority, tag and favorite channel scan, weather alert and display and keypad backlighting cover daily use.

  • Best for: small to mid-size boats that need a compact fixed-mount radio with DSC and built-in GPS.
  • System fit: VHF marine TX 156.025 to 161.600 MHz; Class D DSC on CH70; NMEA interface; 13.8 V DC.
