What it is and who it is for

The Icom UR-FR6300 is the optional RF channel module for the Icom IC-FR6300 UHF IDAS repeater, for systems on the 400 to 470 MHz band. Installed in an IC-FR6300 chassis, it adds a second repeater channel in the same 2U rack unit.

The IC-FR6300 platform runs analog and IDAS (NXDN) digital on the same channel and supports digital simulcast with the optional UC-FR5300 #14 network controller board and a UX-241 GNSS antenna. Per the product data, an IDAS simulcast network can grow to 32 sites on a single frequency pair using 6.25 kHz FDMA.
