What it is and who it is for

The Edwards 872-R5 is an 870 Series single projector vibrating horn for heavy-duty indoor use on 240V AC. It draws 0.07 A (16.8 VA) and produces 113 dB at 1 m (103 dB at 10 ft) in an anechoic chamber.

Output is adjustable from 88 to 113 dB at 1 m (78 to 103 dB at 10 ft) with a set screw, and a 1/16 in (2 mm) Allen wrench is supplied. The heavy-duty die-cast horn comes with a mounting plate for any single gang, 3 1/4 in, 3 1/2 in or 4 in octagon or square box. The 872 AC horns are FM Approved.

  • System fit: 240V AC circuits, operating range -20% to +10% of nominal voltage.
