What it is and who it is for

The Edwards IO-SDC2 is a dual loop controller card for the iO1000 fire alarm control panel. It adds two Signature Series signaling line circuits, each with 125 detector and 125 module addresses, for 500 device addresses on one card.

The card runs on 24 VDC and draws 45 mA standby and 70 mA in alarm with fully loaded loops, excluding two-wire smoke modules. Each loop can be wired Class A or Class B, carries up to 64 isolators and is rated for 66 ohms and 0.5 µF maximum, with terminals for 12 to 18 AWG wire. Edwards lists the IO-SDC2 for the iO1000 only.
