Overview

What it is and who it is for

The Edwards IO1000G is an iO1000 intelligent fire alarm control panel: a four-loop system with one 250-point Signature loop installed and a gray door. The loop supports 125 detectors and 125 modules, and loop controller cards add 250 points at a time up to 1,000 addresses. It has four notification appliance circuits, 32 input zones and a 4 x 20 character backlit LCD.

The panel runs on 120 VAC, 60 Hz (2.0 A max) and delivers 6.0 A of total NAC power, 2.5 A max per circuit, plus two 500 mA auxiliary outputs. It holds two 18 Ah batteries in the cabinet, with a 2.47 A max charging current, and has a Form C alarm relay, a trouble relay and a Form A supervisory relay, each rated 24 VDC at 1 A resistive.

Features include auto-programming, electronic addressing with automatic device mapping, CO detection support, SIGA-REL releasing modules, Genesis horn silence and UL 1971 strobe synchronization, and up to eight serial annunciators. Options include the SA-ETH Ethernet card, SA-DACT dialer, RZI16-2 conventional zone module, D16L-iO LED annunciators and SA-TRIM2 flush trim.
