Overview

What it is and who it is for

The Edwards SIGA-CT1 is a Signature Series intelligent analog addressable single input module. It connects one Class B normally open dry contact initiating device circuit for alarm, supervisory or monitor duty, and its function is set by a personality code downloaded from the Signature loop controller.

Four personality codes cover latching alarm for pull stations and heat detectors, delayed latching alarm for waterflow switches, non-latching monitor for fans, dampers and doors, and latching supervisory for tamper switches. The module draws 250 µA in standby and 400 µA when activated on a 15.2 to 19.95 Vdc data line, uses one module address, and accepts #12 to #18 AWG wire with a 47 kΩ end-of-line resistor. It mounts in a 2-1/2 in deep one-gang box or a 1-1/2 in deep 4 in square box with a one-gang cover and SIGA-MP plate.

  • Best for: connecting pull stations, heat detectors, waterflow and tamper switches and other dry contacts to a Signature loop.
  • System fit: Edwards Signature Loop Controller on EST3, EST3X and iO Series control panels.
  • Important to know: installation and programming must be done by a qualified fire alarm technician in line with local code.
