What it is and who it is for

The Edwards SIGA-DTS is a Signature Series duct detector test station on a two-gang plastic plate with a key switch, an integral intelligent input module and a red alarm LED. Turning the key to TEST lights the LED and remotely triggers a duct detector test alarm so control panel actions such as damper operation can be checked.

Resetting the panel clears the test, and the key cannot be removed in the TEST position. Two keys are supplied, and the replacement key is P-037449. The station draws 250 µA in standby and 400 µA when activated on a 15.2 to 19.95 Vdc data line and uses one module address. It mounts to North American 2 in deep two-gang or 4 in square boxes and European 100 mm square boxes.

  • Best for: remote testing of Signature duct smoke detectors and verifying linked control actions such as damper activation.
  • System fit: Edwards Signature Loop Controller with Signature duct detectors such as the SIGA-DH duct housing; relay bases are not activated by the test.
  • Important to know: installation and programming must be done by a qualified fire alarm technician in line with local code.
