What it is and who it is for

The Edwards SIGA-RM1 is a Signature Series intelligent analog addressable riser monitor module. It monitors 12 and 24 Vdc circuits, 25 and 70 Vac audio circuits and telephone risers, and reports a trouble to the panel when riser voltage drops below about 25% of the riser input.

Personality code 23, the factory default, monitors 70 Vac, 25 Vac, 24 Vdc and 12 Vdc risers, with a hardware jumper set for 70 Vac or for 25 Vac/24 Vdc/12 Vdc. Code 24 monitors a telephone riser with a user-definable trouble delay of 5 to 75 seconds, 15 seconds by default. The module uses one module address on a 15.2 to 19.95 Vdc data line and accepts #12 to #18 AWG wire.

It mounts in a 2-1/2 in deep two-gang box or a 1-1/2 in deep 4 in square box with a two-gang cover and SIGA-MP plates. The SIGA-MRM1 is the UIO plug-in version.
