The MikroTik CCR2004-1G-2XS-PCIe is a smart PCIe network interface card that embeds a fully functional Cloud Core Router directly inside your server. Rather than occupying a separate rack unit, this card delivers two 25G SFP28 ports and one Gigabit Ethernet management port in a standard PCIe form factor, allowing organizations to consolidate high-speed routing and switching capability within the server chassis itself. Powered by a quad-core 64-bit ARMv8 CPU running at 1500 MHz with 4 GB of RAM and RouterOS v7 under a Level 6 license, the card supports advanced network functions including firewalling, user management, access control, and traffic shaping—tasks that would otherwise require a dedicated standalone router. By default the PCIe interface presents four virtual Ethernet interfaces: two in passthrough mode mapped to the 25G SFP28 cages, and two bridged with the Gigabit Ethernet port for management.
