The MikroTik CSS610-1Gi-7R-2S+OUT netPower Lite 7R is an outdoor-rated 10G fiber switch purpose-built for ISPs deploying the MikroTik GPEN (Gigabit Passive Ethernet Network) concept—a cost-effective alternative to traditional GPON infrastructure that eliminates the need for expensive base stations and optical splitters. The switch provides eight 10/100/1000 Ethernet ports, of which seven support Reverse PoE (PoE-IN), enabling the unit to draw operating power directly from connected client devices, and one port delivers Passive PoE output to downstream equipment. Two SFP+ uplink ports provide 10G fiber connectivity for high-capacity backbone integration. With a non-blocking throughput of 28 Gbps, switching capacity of 56 Gbps, and a forwarding rate of 41.7 Mpps, the CSS610-1Gi-7R-2S+OUT is engineered to serve as a building or pole-mounted aggregation point in multi-dwelling and outdoor ISP deployments. The IP54-rated enclosure and -40°C to 70°C tested operating range make it well suited for demanding installation environments including damp attics, elevator shafts, and outdoor pole mounts. The unit accepts power through three independent inputs—DC jack, 2-pin terminal, or Reverse PoE—and runs MikroTik SwitchOS for straightforward management.
