The MikroTik RouterBOARD 18 (IA/MP8) is an eight-slot miniPCI-to-PCI adapter card designed for network builders and system integrators who need to consolidate multiple miniPCI radio or interface cards into a single standard PCI slot. Each of the eight integrated miniPCI slots delivers up to 2.5 W of power at 3.3 V, and every slot is paired with two dedicated status LEDs wired to miniPCI standard pinouts for straightforward diagnostics. The board operates on a standard 5 V PCI bus with an optional 3.3 V configuration available on request (IN/EM4-3.3 variant), and it accepts any PCI 2.1 or higher system slot. Optional TNC punch-out PCI brackets accommodate TNC pigtails for radio cards, while an optional tin shield provides mechanical isolation for two slots. Compatible with MikroTik RouterOS as well as Windows, Linux, and BSD environments, the IA/MP8 is a practical density solution for router, firewall, and wireless infrastructure builds. Note: this adapter is not compatible with SR5 or SR2 400 mW miniPCI cards.
