What it is and who it is for

The Nomadix AS 48T2XHEA (part 715-6020-002) is a 1U rackmount managed access switch with 48 Gigabit RJ45 ports that supply PoE and PoE+, made for hospitality and multi-tenant networks built around Nomadix gateways. It can be monitored through Nomadix Cloud Monitor alongside the switch's own CLI and SNMP management.

Uplinks are two 1G SFP ports (combo with ports 47 and 48) and two 10G SFP+ ports. The switch has two modular power supply slots; with dual power supplies the PoE budget reaches 1,480 W and all 48 ports can deliver PoE+. Each AC power module accepts 100 to 240 V.

Layer 2 features include 4K 802.1Q VLANs, STP, RSTP and MSTP, LACP link aggregation, IGMP and MLD snooping, G.8032 ERPS ring protection and Virtual Switching Unit stacking of up to two members, with 802.1X, RADIUS and TACACS+ for access security.
