Overview

What it is and who it is for

The Seco-Larm SD-927PKC-NSQ is an infrared wave-to-open sensor on a stainless steel single-gang plate with a Spanish faceplate. A wave of the hand in front of the sensor triggers egress or another device, with no touch required, and the sensing area is LED illuminated.

It runs on 12 to 24 VAC/VDC, draws 120 mA at 12 VDC, and switches a Form C dry contact relay rated 3 A at 24 VDC. Sensing range adjusts from 2-3/8 to 8 in (6 to 20 cm) with a 10 ms response, and the relay can be set for 0.5 to 30 seconds, toggle, or for as long as the hand stays near the sensor. The LEDs show red in standby and green when triggered, reversible by jumper, and wiring lands on a quick-connect screwless terminal block.

The sensor is ETL listed and conforms to UL Std. 294, rated Level I for destructive attack, line security and standby power and Level IV for endurance. It operates from -4 to 131 F (-20 to 55 C) and must be powered by a low-voltage, power-limited Class 2 supply. It measures 4-1/2 x 2-3/4 x 1-5/16 in and weighs 3 oz; two mounting screws and a manual are included.
