The Txpro TX-500-K01 is an earpiece microphone that picks up the voice through the ear canal by bone conduction, with the microphone and speaker built into the earphone. It uses a K01 connector and Txpro lists it for Kenwood TK3230, TK3000, TK3402, TK3312, TK3360, TK3170 and NX240, NX340, NX220, NX320 and NX420 radios.

Txpro designed it for extremely noisy environments and for use with lab or pest control breathing masks. A ring PTT switch allows hands-free, easy to hide operation, the earphone is medical-grade plastic and the Kevlar-reinforced cable is rated to a 44 lb (20 kg) pull test.
