What it is and who it is for

The Txpro TX-880-K01 is a 2-wire lapel microphone with a built-in PTT and a discreet acoustic tube earpiece, using a K01 connector. Txpro lists it for more than 50 Kenwood models, including TK-3230, TK-3170, TK-3312, NX-240, NX-340, NX-220, NX-320, NX-420, TKD-240 and TKD-340 radios.

A twist quick connect system lets you change the acoustic tube, speaker and clip in the field. The acoustic tube is medical-grade PU with a spare tip included, the cable is Kevlar reinforced with double tooling at the connector, PTT and speaker, and the PTT is water and dust resistant. Txpro states VOX works with Kenwood radios in conventional mode.
