Overview

What it is and who it is for

This 5-pack contains five Ubiquiti PowerBeam 5AC Gen2 units, each a 5 GHz airMAX ac bridge with an integrated 25 dBi dish (PBE-RAD-400, 400 mm). Ubiquiti rates each unit for 450+ Mbps real TCP/IP throughput, and the radios can run point-to-point links at channel widths up to 80 MHz or act as clients in a point-to-multipoint airMAX ac network at up to 40 MHz.

Each unit has one Gigabit RJ45 port and runs on 24 V passive PoE from the included 24 V, 0.5 A Gigabit PoE adapter, with a maximum draw of 8.5 W. A dedicated 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi management radio allows setup without a cable connection to the radio. The 420 mm dish weighs 2.22 kg, mounts with the included pole kit, survives winds up to 200 km/h (125 mph) and is rated for -40 to 70 °C.

This US version operates on the U-NII-1, U-NII-2A, U-NII-2C and U-NII-3 bands (5150 to 5850 MHz), with the management radio on 2412 to 2462 MHz.
