About Talkpod
DMR plus PoC LTE coverage at a value price.
Talkpod is a Chinese two-way radio manufacturer offering one of the broader value-tier portfolios in the market: DMR Tier II portables, analog handhelds, and PoC (Push-to-talk over Cellular) LTE radios that ride existing carrier networks. For B2B buyers needing wide-area coverage via cellular without the cost of building or licensing a private radio system, Talkpod's PoC LTE line offers a practical option at a price point well below Motorola WAVE PTX or Hytera PNC.
EhubAmerica stocks the most-requested Talkpod SKUs in our Doral, FL warehouse: A36 and A36plus DMR portables, T-series analog and digital handhelds, and the N-series PoC LTE devices (N58, N59, N60), plus chargers, batteries, and accessories. Programming for DMR codeplugs is handled in-house. PoC LTE devices ship with cellular SIM provisioning and platform onboarding handled before delivery.
The Talkpod lineup is the practical choice for security companies needing wide-area coverage without private radio infrastructure investment, transportation and logistics fleets where drivers cross cell coverage areas regularly, hospitality groups with distributed properties, and budget commercial buyers who accept the cost-feature tradeoff vs Motorola or Hytera premium tiers.
Product lines we stock
Our active Talkpod catalog sorts into three practical categories. DMR portables (A36, A36plus, T56, T63) for Tier II digital deployments at a value price. Analog handhelds for legacy and budget analog deployments. PoC LTE radios (N58, N59, N60) for cellular network push-to-talk where wide-area coverage without private infrastructure is the goal. SIM provisioning and PoC platform onboarding handled in-house.

Specific to security companies, transport and logistics fleets, hospitality groups, and budget commercial buyers deploying DMR, PoC LTE, or both. For sizing or quoting, send us the deployment context.
Do you stock Talkpod radios in Miami?
Yes. We stock the A36 and A36plus DMR portables, T-series analog and digital handhelds, and the N58, N59, N60 PoC LTE radios, plus chargers, batteries, and accessories. Most in-stock orders ship same-day when placed before 2 PM ET.
What is PoC LTE and how does it work?
PoC (Push-to-talk over Cellular) LTE is a push-to-talk system that runs over commercial cellular networks instead of private radio infrastructure. The radio looks and feels like a traditional two-way radio but transmits over 4G LTE (or 5G on newer devices). Coverage is anywhere there's cellular signal, including nationwide. The tradeoff is monthly cellular service costs and dependence on carrier networks. For wide-area coverage without building radio infrastructure, PoC LTE is often the practical choice.
Can you onboard Talkpod PoC LTE radios before shipping?
Yes. We handle SIM provisioning (your carrier or ours), platform registration (Zello Work, Talkpod's own platform, or compatible PoC services), user account setup, and group assignments before the radios ship. The end user receives a radio that boots, connects, and is ready to push-to-talk on first power-on.
Are Talkpod DMR radios compatible with other DMR systems?
Yes for Tier II DMR conventional operation. Talkpod A-series DMR radios interoperate with other Tier II DMR systems including Motorola MOTOTRBO conventional, Hytera, and other DMR manufacturers on standard talkgroups. They do not support Tier III trunked or proprietary protocols like Capacity Plus or Capacity Max. For mixed-fleet deployments, our engineering desk can advise on compatibility scope.
DMR or PoC LTE: which should we choose?
Depends on coverage area and infrastructure budget. DMR is better for: contained coverage areas (single site, campus, port), no monthly per-radio fees, full control over the network, P2P communications during cellular outages. PoC LTE is better for: nationwide coverage, mixed fleets crossing many cellular regions, no infrastructure investment, integration with existing dispatch software. Many buyers run both: DMR for primary site work, PoC for vehicle and field staff. Our engineering desk can help you map use cases to the right mix.
