About Wi-Tek

Managed PoE switching at a value price, with cloud option.

Wi-Tek is a Chinese networking manufacturer specializing in managed and unmanaged PoE switches, outdoor industrial PoE switches, and cloud-managed access points for SMB, ISP, and integrator deployments. The portfolio anchors on Gigabit PoE and PoE+ managed switches in 5, 8, 10, 16, 24, and 48-port configurations with cloud management option, unmanaged plug-and-play PoE switches for simple installs, outdoor IP30 and IP65 industrial PoE switches for surveillance and outdoor wireless deployments, and a line of cloud-managed wireless access points that pair with the switch lineup under a single management platform.

EhubAmerica stocks the most-requested Wi-Tek SKUs in our Doral, FL warehouse: 8-port and 16-port managed PoE+ switches for office and small commercial deployments, 24-port and 48-port managed switches for larger deployments, unmanaged 5-port and 8-port PoE switches for plug-and-play needs, outdoor IP30 and IP65 PoE switches for surveillance camera installs in industrial and outdoor environments, and the matching cloud-managed access points. Cloud management subscription is free for the first year on most managed switches, and self-hosted controller options are available.

The Wi-Tek lineup is the practical choice for MSPs deploying PoE switching to client offices where Cisco or Ubiquiti pricing exceeds the budget but managed VLAN and PoE features are required, surveillance integrators powering IP cameras across small-to-medium commercial properties, IT teams running SMB office networks where the feature set is sufficient at a fraction of enterprise pricing, integrators handling outdoor wireless and surveillance deployments where IP-rated PoE switching is required, and ISPs needing reliable PoE for CPE and small business deployments.

Product lines we stock

Our active Wi-Tek catalog sorts into four practical categories. Managed PoE switches Gigabit PoE+ in 8, 16, 24, and 48-port configurations with web management, VLAN, QoS, link aggregation, and optional cloud management. Unmanaged PoE switches 5-port and 8-port plug-and-play PoE switches for simple deployments. Outdoor industrial PoE switches IP30 and IP65 rated switches for surveillance camera installs and outdoor wireless deployments. Cloud-managed wireless access points indoor and outdoor APs that integrate with the Wi-Tek cloud platform for centralized management across multi-site deployments.

Frequently asked

Wi-Tek questions, PoE switching answers.

Specific to MSPs, IT teams, surveillance integrators, outdoor wireless deployers, and ISPs sourcing managed or unmanaged PoE switching plus cloud-managed access points.

Do you stock Wi-Tek in Miami?

Yes. We stock managed PoE+ switches (8, 16, 24, 48-port), unmanaged PoE switches (5, 8-port), outdoor IP30 and IP65 industrial PoE switches, and cloud-managed access points. Most in-stock orders ship same-day when placed before 2 PM ET.

Wi-Tek versus TP-Link Omada versus Ubiquiti: when does Wi-Tek make sense?

All three target SMB and prosumer with managed switching and cloud platforms. Wi-Tek typically comes in at the lowest price point of the three with comparable feature sets on managed switches and PoE budgets. Ubiquiti UniFi has the broadest ecosystem (switches, APs, cameras, access, talk) under one OS at no licensing cost. TP-Link Omada has wide retail availability and good documentation. For pure PoE switching at the best price and with cloud management option, Wi-Tek is often the right call. For ecosystem breadth, UniFi. For retail-supported deployments, Omada.

How do I size the PoE budget on a Wi-Tek switch?

Total the PoE consumption of all devices: standard 802.3af caps at 15.4W per port (typical for VoIP phones, basic APs, basic cameras), 802.3at PoE+ at 30W (most modern APs and PTZ cameras), 802.3bt at 60W or 90W (high-power APs, displays, advanced cameras). Add up the total wattage across all PoE ports and confirm the switch PoE budget meets or exceeds it with 20 percent headroom. Wi-Tek managed switches publish PoE budgets in the spec sheet. Send us the device list and we confirm the right switch model.

Is Wi-Tek cloud management free?

For most managed Wi-Tek switches, cloud management is free for the first year and continues at low subscription cost in subsequent years (current pricing should be confirmed at order time as Wi-Tek pricing changes periodically). Self-hosted controller management is also supported and free. For multi-site SMB and MSP deployments where centralized visibility across customer locations matters, cloud management is typically worth the subscription. For single-site office deployments, self-hosted or web management per switch is sufficient.

Are outdoor Wi-Tek switches rated for Florida coastal installs?

The IP65-rated outdoor Wi-Tek switches handle dust, rain, and direct water spray exposure. For Florida coastal (salt air), the IP rating is sufficient for sheltered installs (covered roof, eaves) but for fully exposed saltwater-adjacent locations, we recommend additional surge protection and grounding plus consideration of NEMA 4X enclosures for the switch. Tell us the specific install location and we recommend the right rating and any add-on protection.

What is the Wi-Tek RMA process at EhubAmerica?

Send the unit with a brief problem description and the original order or invoice reference. We issue replacement within 48 hours of receipt for units under warranty. Wi-Tek standard warranty is typically 2 years on managed switches and 1 year on unmanaged. Warranty covers manufacturing defects, not damage from power surges, lightning, water ingress beyond rated protection, or end-user firmware mis-flashing.
