The Grandstream GWN7602 is a dual-band 802.11ac wireless access point engineered for small-to-medium business environments that demand reliable wireless coverage alongside wired connectivity for mixed endpoint deployments. With an aggregate wireless throughput of 1.17 Gbps and a 2x2:2 MIMO architecture across both 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands, the GWN7602 delivers consistent performance for voice, video, and data traffic simultaneously. An integrated four-port Ethernet switch—comprising one Gigabit uplink and three Fast Ethernet downlink ports—allows IP phones, IPTV endpoints, and workstations to share a single infrastructure drop, reducing cabling complexity in space-constrained installations. The unit supports Power over Ethernet input on the uplink port and provides PSE power output on two downstream ports, enabling connected devices such as IP phones to be powered directly from the access point. Cloud-based management through GWN.Cloud provides centralized visibility and configuration at no additional licensing cost, making the GWN7602 a practical, scalable choice for distributed enterprise branch offices, retail locations, and professional workspaces.

Key features & benefits

  • Dual-Band 802.11ac with 1.17 Gbps Aggregate Throughput — Simultaneous 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz radios using 2x2:2 MIMO technology deliver a combined wireless throughput of 1.17 Gbps, supporting demanding mixed-traffic environments without sacrificing per-client performance.
  • Integrated Four-Port Ethernet Switch — One 10/100/1000M uplink port and three 10/100M downlink ports consolidate wired and wireless connectivity at a single access point, eliminating the need for a separate desktop switch in many small office deployments.
  • PoE/PoE+ Input with PSE Output — The Gigabit uplink port accepts PoE or PoE+ power through auto-detection and self-adaptation, while two of the 10/100M downlink ports provide PSE power output to connected devices such as IP phones—reducing AC adapter requirements at the edge.
  • Up to 80 Concurrent Wi-Fi Clients — The GWN7602 manages up to 80 simultaneous wireless associations, making it well suited for open-plan offices, conference areas, and hospitality environments with moderate-to-high user density.
  • Advanced QoS for Low-Latency Applications — Built-in Quality of Service mechanisms prioritize real-time traffic streams such as VoIP and video conferencing, preserving call quality and minimizing jitter even when the network is under general data load.
  • Enterprise-Grade Wi-Fi Security — Supports WEP, WPA/WPA2-PSK, and WPA/WPA2 Enterprise authentication, complemented by anti-hacking secure boot, critical data and control lockdown via digital signatures, a unique per-device security certificate, and a randomized default password.
  • GWN.Cloud Free Cloud Management — Native integration with Grandstream's GWN.Cloud platform allows IT teams to provision, monitor, and manage GWN7602 units across multiple sites from a single browser-based interface without recurring licensing fees.
  • Up to 100-Meter Coverage Range — Dual internal antennas with 3 dBi gain on both bands extend usable Wi-Fi coverage up to 100 meters, reducing the number of access points required to blanket typical commercial floor plans.
