Notifier B224BI-WH Intelligent Isolator Base White

The Notifier B224BI-WH is an intelligent isolator base manufactured by System Sensor (a Honeywell Building Technologies company) for use in intelligent, addressable fire alarm systems. Its primary function is to protect Signaling Line Circuit (SLC) loops from being fully disabled by a short-circuit fault: when a short occurs, the base automatically isolates the faulted loop segment from the remainder of the circuit, keeping all devices outside that segment fully operational. Once the short-circuit condition is cleared, the base automatically restores the full loop without any manual intervention. Up to 25 addressable devices may be protected between any two isolator bases, enabling granular loop-segment protection across large addressable installations. The base supports compatible System Sensor and Notifier detector heads and features a white housing to blend with standard ceiling finishes. Its SEMS screw terminals accept wire gauges from 12 to 24 AWG, streamlining installation across a wide range of conductor sizes.
