The Tycon Power TP-POE-24G is a single-port, midspan Gigabit passive PoE power source engineered for long-term reliability in demanding network environments. It accepts a universal autoranging AC input (90–264 VAC, 50/60 Hz) and delivers a regulated 24 VDC output at up to 24 W over a shielded RJ45 output jack—making it well-suited for powering 24 V passive PoE wireless access points, IP cameras, VoIP phones, and other CPE devices over standard CAT5/6 cabling at distances up to 100 m. Both the data-in and data-out RJ45 jacks are shielded, and the unit incorporates built-in AC and Ethernet surge protection alongside short-circuit, overload, and overvoltage protection. It complies with UL1950, CSA 22.2, and TUV EN60950 safety standards, and meets RoHS environmental requirements. Power is injected on the unused Ethernet pins 4,5 (V+) and 7,8 (V−), following the standard passive PoE Mode B pinout.
